Speaking of LeMasters, he had a career event at the 2010 Open Championships  Averaging only 166 to enter the tournament, he shot 717 scratch in the Singles Event on games of 194-279-244.  With his 129 pins of handicap, his 846 led the Handicapped Singles Event over Kevin McAfee by 27 pins.  McAfee, from the Columbia USBC, shot games of 258, 265, and 268 for 791, to take the Scratch Singles Event, just six pins better than Andrew Fritz of the MO Capital Area USBC.  LeMasters gets $960.00 for the Handicapped Singles, and McAfee $500.00 for the Scratch.

Joplin’s Lemasters capitalized in all three events in this year's tournament.  He shot 628 in the Doubles Event (224-241-163) and 652 in the Team (222-201-229).  His 1,997 scratch total in All-Events (a 221.8 average) added to 387 pins of handicap gives him 2,384, and maintained an 85-pin cushion over James Ratliff of the St. Louis USBC.  He receives $580.00 for his Handicapped All-Events Championships.

St. Louis’ Follmer also did well in the other events.  In Singles, he fired 215, 210, and 300 for a 725 total.  In the Team event, 233-235-237 for 710.  That 2,248 was good enough for the Scratch All-Events win, paying $350.00 as well as a spot in the 2011 USBC Masters in Reno, NV.
