05/28/2010--The 2010 MSUSBC Women's Championship Tournament has now ended, and the following teams are Official Champions in the Team Event. Divisions are defined by team averages, as follows: Division 1, 896 and up; Division 2, 796-895; Division 3, 716-795; Division 4, 646-715; and Division 5, 645 and below. Final Standings | Official Prize List Two teams from the St. Louis USBC topped 3,400 this year. However, Division 1 belongs to the team called We Loves Us Sum Bowlin. Three ladies passed the 700 mark on this team, including their leadoff bowler, Jada Luden. She shot games of 238-269-216 for 723. Trella Lester followed with 647 including a 240 first game. Kendall Salas filled the three hole with 675. Linda Bradshaw turned in games of 221, 253, and 245 for a 719 series, and Shelly Peck anchored the team with 245, 256, and 216 for 717. Their 3,481 wins the division by 77 pins over I Heart Bowling, also from St. Louis USBC, who shot 3,404. We Loves Us Some Bowlin takes home $400.00 for the win, with I Heart Bowling receiving $218.00. Division 2 belongs to Up Your Alley from Scenic Rivers USBC. They led the tournament from the first weekend with their 2,777 score. Frances "Marie" Zeigenbein paced the team with a 633 set, including a 239 game. Nancy Wood had 597 with a 223 high, Teresa Adams a 572 with a 221 high. Pauline "Mickey" Zeigenbein turned in 562, and Carrie Garcia a 413. First Place in Division 2 is worth $700.00. In Division 3, the team called Satellites Plus from the Moberly USBC are the decisive Champions, with a 87-pin margin over Buckhorn Lanes from the Scenic Rivers USBC. April Kenney led off with 520, 85 pins better than her average. Leslie Parker followed with 539, and Cheryl Gibbs contributed 565, also 85 pins better than her average. Tammy Shurber shot 581 on a 159 average in the fourth position, and Shirley Buxton anchored with 489. They'll take home $900.00, with Buckhorn Lanes receiving $600.00 for second place. Mexico USBC's Bonnie's Girls team won Division 4 by 15 pins over another team from Mexico USBC, Ron's Collision Repair. Almost 100 pins over her 113 average, Jennifer Dubes started them off with a 434. Amber Tocco followed with 543, a whopping 108 pins over. Bonnie Sanders shot 437, Gina Lairds 435, and then Christine Delong added a 576 on her 160 average. Bonnie's Girls win $750.00. Finally, in Division 5, the Missouri Capital Area USBC has a Champion in the team of Roy Prenger Masonry, LLC. They win the division by 44 pins over hometown SEMO Specialties from the Cape Girardeau USBC WBA. Amber Mantle Shot 375, Emily Prenger 400, Jill Herigon 355, and Deidre Sommerer 480. Nichold Kirsch came in with a 135 average, and shot games of 179, 236, and 213 for a whopping 628 series.. First Place is worth $600.00 in Divison 5.
