Gary Voss Receives 2009 MOBPA "Gerald Orscheln Pioneer Award"
06/02/2009--Gary Voss, President of the Missouri BPA and proprietor of West County Lanes in Ellisville is this year's recipient of the Gerald Orscheln Pioneer Award. Steve Divers, proprietor of Community Lanes in Moberly, MO, presented the award to a very surprised Gary, with the assistance of Gary's wife Pat to arrange the presence of a large part of their family. 3rd Annual Showcase Held in Jefferson City
06/02/2009--Missouri bowlers, bowling proprietors, friends and families were gathered in Jefferson City for the 3rd Annual MSUSBC Showcase, co-sponsored by the Missouri USBC Association and the Missouri Bowling Proprietors Association. The event took place at the Truman Hotel & Conference Center on May 29-30-31, 2009. The Missouri BPA stayed over an additional day to conduct its annual business meeting on Monday, June 1. MORE

St. Louis USBC "Bowl for the Cure"
03/24/2009--The St. Louis USBC Association held their annual Bowl for the Cure Tournament in January to help raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. The tournament was a great success, and this association raised nearly $5,700 for the fund. MORE |

Brown Fires Only 300 of MSUSBC Mixed Championship
11/17/2008--Johnny Brown, Sikeston, MO, found the lanes at The Bowlers Connxtion to his liking for at least one of his six games, as he fired the only 300 game of the 2008 MSUSBC Mixed Championship in the first weekend of competition. It was in the first squad of the tournament, in the Team Event, and his games were 248, 300, 192 for a 740 series. MORE
